Nepal is known as the land of trekking and mountaineering paradise in the world. The 800 mile long Himalayan region on the north is famous for Mountaineering and adventure trekking. The lower part of the Himalaya is the home for endangered wildlife and vegetation. The social and cultural settings are wonderful and unique. The landscape, flora and fauna are superb. The Himali region is also known as the abode of the legendry Yeti. Trekking and mountaineering following the foot print of yeti inside the midst of Himalaya wilderness is an interesting game. Nepal Himalaya is the best and biggest for mountaineering in the world.

As Nepal has been named trekking paradise in the world, the Annapurna region and Everest Base camp have been ranked the best trekking destination in the world. Nepal’s Himali region is not only famous for wilderness trekking  in the world but also is famous for its Tibetan based rich cultural and social life style.

The mid-hill of Nepal differs in many aspects from the Himali region. The social and cultural settings of mid-hill consist of a unique combination of different ethnic groups. There are over 70 identified different ethnic groups with many cast and sub-cast system having their own social and cultural identity and lifestyle. The topography is not that much harsh as compare to the Himali region. It is genteelly sloped with many flat pasture lands and fertile valleys with some exception of rugged mountains. Down to the Terai region the natural and cultural aspects differ from those of the Himali and mid-hill region. From geographical and social point of view the whole country can be divided into three regions. The  land elevation begins from 60m and ends at 8848m(the highest point on earth) above the sea level and all types of climatic zones are available. Nepal, in fact is a total natural and cultural world with wonderful wildlife and vegetation, climate, social and cultural lifestyle. It is, therefore said that Nepal “a land of diversity and “ Nepal for all season”.
